AITT-accredited teletruk training for UK businesses

The JCB Teletruk is a unique industrial forklift that swaps the conventional vertical mast for a telescopic boom. That forward reach lets it load vehicles from one side only, work through single doorways and place loads where a standard counterbalance simply can’t — saving yard space and cutting double-handling for the businesses that run them.

MHE Train & Test delivers teletruk training through a nationwide network of fully insured, AITT-accredited instructors and examiners. We come to your premises and train on your own equipment, in your real working environment — fully in line with HSE L117 and PUWER.

Courses are scheduled around your shifts and busy periods, with transparent daily-rate pricing and no hidden charges — and a free, same-day quote whenever you’re ready.

Alongside this course we provide counterbalance forklift training, reach truck training, telehandler training, overhead crane training and more — each available as novice, experienced, conversion, refresher training. Whether you’re looking for a forklift licence or searching for AITT forklift training, our instructors can help.

Teletruk explained

What is a JCB Teletruk — and who needs training?

Unlike a masted forklift, the Teletruk’s boom extends forward, giving unobstructed visibility to the forks and true one-sided vehicle loading — no need to walk trailers or access both sides. It behaves differently from both a counterbalance and a telehandler, with its own load-chart, reach and stability considerations, so specific training on the machine is essential.

Under HSE L117 and PUWER, Teletruk operators must be adequately trained just like any other lift-truck driver. Our AITT-accredited Teletruk courses cover novice, experienced, conversion and refresher routes — delivered on your own Teletruk, at your premises, anywhere in the UK.

Is your team legally covered?
If an operator can’t show valid, in-date certification, your business may not be compliant. We’ll help you close that gap quickly with on-site training across the UK.
