AITT-accredited reach truck training for UK businesses
The reach truck is the high-bay specialist of the modern warehouse. With a mast that ‘reaches’ the load forward over its stabilising legs, it works in far narrower aisles than a counterbalance and lifts to significantly greater heights — which is why it’s the backbone of racked distribution centres and 3PL operations across the UK, and why certified reach truck operators are so sought after.
Our nationwide network of fully insured, AITT-accredited instructors and examiners brings reach truck training directly to your site. Operators train on your own equipment, in the environment they actually work in, to full HSE L117 and PUWER standards.
We fit training around your operation — days, shifts or weekends — with transparent daily rates, no hidden charges and a free same-day quote.
Alongside this course we provide counterbalance forklift training, telehandler training, Teletruk training, overhead crane training and more — each available as novice, experienced, conversion, refresher training. Whether you’re looking for a forklift licence or searching for AITT forklift training, our instructors can help.

What is a reach truck — and who needs training?
A reach truck carries its load within the wheelbase, using a moving mast or pantograph to extend the forks into racking. That geometry gives it a tight turning circle, narrow-aisle capability and lift heights well beyond a typical counterbalance — ideal for high-bay pallet storage, but it also demands precise, well-trained operation, often working at height with restricted visibility.
Under HSE L117 and PUWER, reach truck operators must be adequately trained and employers must be able to prove it. Our AITT-accredited reach truck courses cover novice, experienced-operator, conversion and refresher routes — trained on your own trucks, in your own racking, at your premises.
Is your team legally covered?
If an operator can’t show valid, in-date certification, your business may not be compliant. We’ll help you close that gap quickly with on-site training across the UK.
